Here's a photo I took at
South Of The Border using black & white
infra-red film. This film actually measures natural objects' wavelengths and makes a beautiful blue sky look eerily dark, while making foliage (notice the palm fronds and tree leaves) look lighter. I just happened to be walking across the parking lot when one of the giant sombrero-clad statues covered up the "S" of the Shell gas station sign, and I had to snap the photo.
I really like this shot. Infra-red film is interesting how it changes the whole perspective of it. I like how the S is covered up also.
